" In the summer of 2008, we contracted with Cape Construction to build our long-awaited deck. We now have a deck that the two of us use daily, in addition to entertaining others (and showing it off). We could not be more pleased. I’m not sure that our deck would have been built at all had we not contracted with Steve Bornick. After my meeting with the Code Officer of our town, the project seemed dead and I was ready to give up the dream and to consider other alternatives. However, Steve took it upon himself to contact the Code Officer. He was able to reach a compromise that did not violate the city codes and that still allowed us to build the deck that we wanted. Steve Bornick was a pleasure to work with. Not only is he personable, but professional, with a definite can-do attitude. He listened to our plans, but also offered his own ideas based on his experience. The result was a collaborative design, well constructed and aesthetically appealing; it exceeded our expectations. The best part was watching the deck get built…once Cape Construction started, they did not stop. The deck was completed in four days.
